Presidents Corner - April 2023
This winter season's weather pattern has been topsy-turvy. Groundhog saw his shadow on February 2nd which meant six more weeks of winter. It never materialized, and actually, I'm okay with that. I'm perfectly fine with hot weather and sleeveless tops. So, I look forward to welcoming the first day of spring on March 20th. Daffodils are blooming and due to warmer winter temperatures, cherry blossoms are expected to arrive earlier than usual.
This month we celebrate the University's founding during Charter Week. Please enjoy a few photos from the black-tie Charter Day event, which was the first in-person dinner held in 3 years, at the Marriott Marquis. The event never disappoints! It was brimming with great food, libations, entertainment, extraordinary honorees, and of course the after-party! It was certainly a memorable occasion.
It's Women's "Herstory" Month! We salute our women from the past and those who continue to get it done every day! Here, here!
